Goodbyes so soon

Our teammates, the Chet Burns family, felt the call of God to move to Malawi. They will be starting ACTION Malawi hoping to lay the groundwork for an ACTION team to minster in Lilongwe, the capitol city. While this is exciting for ACTION it is also hard for us to see them go. We only had the chance to serve with them 5 months before we had to wish them farewell. The ACTION ladies took LeAnne out to lunch to say our goodbyes and she presented us with thoughtful gifts. A good majority of our team and vehicles drove them the 13+ hours over to Malawi on Zambia's eastern border.

wish your friends good luck in malawi from us. there is a strong scottish connection with malawi and our first minister (scottish prime minister equivalent) has visited there earlier this year to offer support. I know there are a lot of problems and alleged corruption there which makes life difficult and poverty widespread
