Keith's various jobs continued

Aside from the jobs that were mentioned in the first part of this post, Keith now takes care of the Feeding and Livelyhood Projects. AZ is involved in assisting poor church-based schools to improve the quality of education. Mari, AZ teammate, weekly assists the teachers in these schools on an academic basis. Part of the difficulty in helping the kids learn is knowing that most are undernourished which hampers their abilities. We have feeding programs at several schools. Keith meets with the leadership and monitors their needs. He also considers other schools who have requested assistance in this way.Keith is working with Income Generating Projects to provide churches with loan money to help their needy members, usually widows or pastors, begin a small business. Keith hosted a small business seminar last Saturday to assist them in planning their business and understanding how to run it.
To add further variety he acts as Glenn's Adminstrative Assistant, in applying for work permits for new missionaries, working with customs agents and representing AZ in different capacities. He is currently meeting with government officials to get our tax exempt status. The last photo shows Keith speaking for AZ at a pastor's ordination ceremony last Sunday. He has always liked hats so I guess his position here allows him to wear many!
ps. Lest you think Keith is boasting I, Linda, write the blog entries. So I can tell you how proud I am of how well he has handled (with God's help) all the new responsibilities. Many have commented about Keith doing the blog but it is my privilege to take photos and tell you about our activities. Thank you for your encouragement!
