Days at Lake Malawi

We spent a couple nice days at Lake Malawi. Our kids have never been to an ocean or lake with a beach - yes, we are from the Midwest! They loved the sand, waves and fun in the water. Local boys came to see the sand castles our kids made - oh, Keith is there too. One boy had a home-made push bike type toy made from wire, a stick to steer it and shoe polish cans for wheels. Pretty clever. One lady we saw had her baby on her back and did her laundry right down the beach from us. A group of kids made their way closer to us as they used mosquito netting to catch small fish to eat. It sure was great for our family to get away and spend time together.
