Powells Visit

Our teammates from Zambia, The Powells, visited us for several days passing through from North Carolina. We took them around our beautiful Oregon area, to Chicago to Science & Industry Museum and to a children's museum in Rockford. Evan posed near the Chief Blackhawk Statue overlooking the Rock River in Oregon, IL. Our children introduced the Powell kids to "haybale jumping". They love to climb around and jump across the neighbors haybales. Hey, I guess it's fun. The kids liked the farming exhibit including a plastic cow. Kelly and Nathan took charge of the coal mine at Science & Industry. The guys took Keith's new car for a spin! Ha, it is even right-hand drive, just like we are used to.
