Anniversary get away

Our teammates, the Hilty's, volunteered to watch our kids overnight so we could get away for our 11th Anniversary. We didn't do anything for our 10th so this made up for it. We went to a lodge just a ways north of Lusaka and got a little chalet. When we woke up there were kudu and bush buck right near our veranda. They were quite tame and great to watch. At breakfast we saw missionary friends of ours also away for their anniversary. We were all surprised. Later we saw another family that we know. I guess that's not too unusual because there aren't very many places too 'get away' to. It was wonderful to enjoy the beautiful nature and the quiet!
