Odds and Ends

The Powells were kind enough to ask us to watch their pet turtle while they are gone. It's just a baby so the kids really enjoy it. Keith took our washing machine apart to fix it. I'm glad he can do that sort of thing! Our little teammate, Payton, enjoyed his cake but I think most ended up on his face. Two girls come to play with our kids most Fridays. They all made "flutes" out of papaya stems and spent hours singing and playing them. They sounded like kazoos.
