The Birthday of Miss Kelly Ann

Kelly was actually sick on her birthday - see first picture - so we waited until the next eve to celebrate. In the picture she is holding a small beaded giraffe. We went to a local pizza place at a gas station, that's all there is! The kids played in the only play area in Lusaka. We were surprised to see the Stein family drive up. They were just as surprised as us. They have friends from MN visiting. So we had a fun time eating pizza and then returned to our house for chocolate mint brownies. Kelly thinks 8 is great!
