Day of Flying

Keith has been working really hard so when his friend, Bryan, from Flying Mission asked him to ride along Keith readily agreed. The deal was that I provide lunch for them! That's Bryan in the headset. They flew to Mkushi to pick up two people and flew them way out to the finger of Zambia that sticks up between Angola and DR Congo then stopped at Mkinge, a base of Flying Mission and came back - all in one day! They even had time to fly over the ACTION Zambia Ministry Center- aka The Farm. In the pentagon-shaped wall fence are several residences, a theological library, the team house, storage etc. To the right is the insaka, a large thatched meeting chapel and in front of that, the dirt soccer pitch.

Keith, Nice work!! Have you been up in a small plane before? Smallest plane I have been in was about a 15-20 seater. We had some pretty sweet air turbulance. One of the ladies on the plane was screaming her head off swearing that we were all going to die. My mom prayed with her and that helped a bit, but she was still pretty freaked out. I would love to be in one of those couple of passenger planes! Our neighbor has his own little runway, but his planes are only 1 seaters:(. At least we get a pretty cool air show cause they go right by our place to take off and land.
