4th of July

The U.S. Embassy and the Marines hosted a 4th of July celebration for all Americans. We enjoyed seeing the many other Americans who also live in Lusaka. The kids had fun on the blow up slide, we ate a lot and watched a few bottle-rocket type fireworks. We sure missed the Mt. Morris, IL 'Let Freedom Ring' parade but it was still nice to remember the independence day of our country.
