AZ Ladies Retreat

Our special guests Carrie and Bobbi took us AZ ladies away for the better part of three days for a retreat. Generous donors in the US wanted to minister to us so they treated us to this retreat filled with great teaching, rest and together time. Most of the time we have agendas, time frames and families to think of so it was wonderful to be together in a relaxed setting without other responsibilities. We focused on drawing nearer to God and we were given several books and guides to continue what we talked about. We were showered with gifts like chocolate and candy so then Bobbi led an exercise class so we could work it off! Ha. We even celebrated my big 40th birthday. One morning LeAnne, my roommate at the conference, was making her bed and this HUGE spider is what made her scream. It was on her net and we aren't sure where it was all night! Yuck! Liese Ripley, brave as she is, came in and killed it for us. This retreat was sooo wonderful that we asked the ladies if we could do it every year. We'll see!
