Christmas Day continued
As I mentioned in the first part of Christmas Day we enjoyed a nice lunch with our church. As is also tradition in Zambian culture the men were served first, then the women and last the youth. This partially completed building in the photo is next to the church. It is planned to be a vocational training center and also used for Sunday School and other church activities. Some of the women of the church prepared the meal and then posed for a group shot. They are always full of smiles and laughs but when taking photos Zambians are usually serious. Other ladies washed dishes as people got done and cycled them back in line. I noticed some new dresses and lots of new hair styles for Christmas. One little girl posed for me showing her hair dew. Another little girl looked so sweet eating her mango. We came home and took naps! That eve we went over to neighbor missionaries for an open house which was nice just to sit around and visit. Christmas was a nice time of being refreshed and having fun.
