Family Outing

Last Friday we had a family outing day with our teammates, the Burns family and pastor friend, Pastor Chunda, wife and newly adopted toddler boy, Blessing. We went to a resort facility just north of Lusaka. We haven't been away from the city yet so enjoyed our 45 min. drive. We went for the day to swim, have lunch and go on a mini-safari. They enjoyed the playground and pool. The kids wore their new Zambian clothes that Mrs. Chunda made. We saw a zebra, many types of antelope, lions and warthogs. We even saw baby warthogs...they still aren't cute! The lions are in an enclosure so we were able to get pretty close. The highlight of the safari was the ELEPHANT! It deserves a blog entry of it's own.
