A Visit at Venter

For those of you who have been here with AZ you surely will know Venter and Pastor Austin. Grandma Bev and the Stran Clan went to church at Venter last Sunday. Keith had a sneaking suspicion that he would be asked to speak. It was a good thing he tucked some notes in his bible, the suspicions were right. Through the translation of Pastor Austin, Keith told how God worked to bring us out of doing things our own way and to doing things His way. He told of our adoption and our call to serve in Zambia. We could almost feel God touching these people with this story. After the service a man, again through Austin's translating, for15 minutes told what he learned about how God works. It was very moving to hear of his desire to understand God better and live differently because of it. As we stood near the church and greeted everyone outside, filthy children played, goats wandered through and women talked to each other. We praise God for how he works in all of our lives.
